Dinex DPFs feature advanced coatings that improve regeneration efficiency—reducing the need for cleaning, lowering fuel consumption, and cutting downtime.
The Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) uses a porous ceramic core to capture particulate matter as small as 23 nanometers—about five times smaller than an influenza virus. DPFs are the most effective solution for meeting EPA particulate emission standards, and when operating properly, they can produce exhaust that contains fewer particles than the surrounding air in many urban areas.
Dinex has been developing and manufacturing advanced DPF ceramics and coatings for more than 20 years, with technologies trusted by some of the world's leading OEMs.
Over time, the DPF fills with trapped particles and soot. To manage this, the filter surface is coated with Platinum Group Metals (PGM), which, under the right conditions, help burn off the accumulated material in a process called regeneration. This process keeps back pressure low and allows the system to operate efficiently for hundreds of thousands of miles before a physical cleaning is needed.
Dinex’s own innovative DiSiC HP ceramic core has already proven to outperform countless of competing technologies with its impressive porosity of up to 58%, low backpressure and effectiveness against particles down to 10 nm.
This technology is already applied to several Dinex DPF spare parts, and the technology is future proof with validated compliance to upcoming standards.
