Technical insight: How does it work?

Raw exhaust gas coming from the engine contains carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (HC), particulate matter (PM), and nitrogen oxides (NOx).

1. Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC):
The DOC burns harmful CO and HC pollutants and generates additional heat. This heat is critical for supporting downstream aftertreatment processes.

2. Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF):
The DPF traps and burns microscopic particulate matter (PM), reducing over 99% of solid particle emissions.

3. DEF Hydrolysis Chamber:
Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is injected and hydrolyzed, preparing it to react with the NOx gases.

4. Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) Catalyst:
In the SCR catalyst, the prepared DEF reacts with NOx gases, converting them into harmless nitrogen (N₂) and water vapor (H₂O).

Throughout the system, sensors monitor and control temperature, NOx concentration, and backpressure—ensuring the process operates efficiently and emissions remain compliant.

The result?
Up to a 95% reduction in NOx emissions and more than 99% reduction in particulate matter, keeping your truck cleaner, more efficient, and fully EPA compliant.

We've got options!

When replacing your OneBox, it's strongly recommended to also replace key components like sensors, mechatronics, and DPFs to ensure optimal system performance and long-term reliability.

At Dinex, we make it easy. You can choose a OneBox that’s fully loaded with DPFs (including clamps and gaskets), or opt for an unloaded version without DPFs—whichever fits your operation best.
Need more? We also offer convenient mechatronics kits designed to pair with your OneBox replacement, so you can get everything you need in one go.
